Tumblewright

Privacy policy

Effective 24 October 2026

The short version: Tumblewright collects nothing. There are no accounts, no analytics, no ads and no tracking. The app has no networking code, so it never sends anything to us. Your progress stays on your iPhone.

Who we are

Tumblewright is published by Verus Trade LLC ("we", "us"). This policy covers the Tumblewright iPhone app, its home-screen widget, and this website, tumblewright.app.

What we collect

Nothing. Specifically:

  • No account, sign-in, name, email address or phone number is asked for.
  • No analytics, crash-reporting or advertising tools are built in, and no third-party code at all.
  • No advertising identifier and no tracking across other companies' apps or websites.
  • No location, contacts, photos, microphone or camera.

On the App Store this is shown as "Data Not Collected".

What stays on your phone

Your workshop (the safes you have opened and your results, the parts and letters you have earned, and your settings) is saved in the app's own storage on your device. The Tumblewright widget reads a small summary of today's safe from the same device. None of it is sent to us; we have no servers to send it to.

If you back up your iPhone to iCloud or a computer, that backup includes the app's data, as it does for any app. Backups are between you and Apple. Deleting the app deletes its data from the device.

Apple services the app uses

  • StoreKit, for the one optional purchase, the Workshop Kit. Apple handles the payment. We never see your name, your Apple Account or your payment details; the app is told only whether the Kit has been bought, so it can unlock it and restore it.
  • WidgetKit, for the home-screen widget, which shows today's safe from the data already on your device.
  • Local notifications, only if you turn on the morning knock: at most one a day, scheduled on your iPhone itself. Nothing is sent to us, and you can turn it off at any time in the app or in iOS Settings.

Apple's own handling of these services is covered by Apple's privacy policy.

What Apple may share with us

Like every developer, we can see App Store totals that Apple provides, such as numbers of downloads and sales. If you have chosen in iOS Settings to share analytics with app developers, Apple may also give us crash reports. These do not identify you, and we use them only to fix problems.

Sharing your result

When you tap Share, iOS's share sheet sends the text you see to the app you pick. Tumblewright does not see where it goes.

Email

If you write to us at support@tumblewright.app or privacy@tumblewright.app, we use your address and message only to reply, and we delete them on request.

This website

tumblewright.app sets no cookies and uses no analytics, trackers, third-party fonts or scripts. Our host, Cloudflare, handles basic request information such as IP addresses in order to deliver the pages and protect the site, under its own privacy policy.

Children

Tumblewright is made for all ages. Because the app collects no information from anyone, it collects none from children under 13 either.

Your choices and rights

We hold no personal data from the app, so there is nothing to access, correct, export or delete, wherever you live. For anything you have emailed us, ask and we will delete it.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update this page and its date. If a future version of the app ever collected any data, this policy and the App Store privacy label would change before that version was released.
